Is my child too ill for school?
It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they are unwell.
But there are government guidelines for schools that say when children should be kept off school and when they should not.
If you do keep your child at home, it is important that you telephone the school office on the first day giving your child's name, class and details of the reason they are not in school.
Please refer to NHS guidance for advice on dealing with childrens' illnesses and infections.
If your child needs any medication administered during the school day, you will need to complete an administration of medicines form and hand it into the school office with the relevant prescribed medication.
Please click Administration of Medicine Form with KPASC to download the form.
