School Meals

As you may be aware, all children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM).  We encourage all children to have a school meal as they are nutritionally balanced and we use locally sourced ingredients.

Your child will have a choice of the following meals from the menu each day:

  • Main meal option (Meat/Vegetarian/Halal)

  • Jacket Potato option

  • Salad Bar option.

Chartwells, our school meals supplier, has now published their menu for school meals which covers Autumn and Winter 2019/20, commencing Monday 4th November 2019 until the week commencing Monday 30th March 2020.

You can read or download the menus by clicking on the links below:

Free school meals and the pupil premium

The most common reason a pupil receives Pupil Premium funding at our school is because a parent is registered as receiving a benefit that entitles them to free school meals. This is not the same as receiving a free school meal because your child is in Reception or Key Stage 1 and therefore entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM).
